1. Canada Council for the Arts – Funding Programs

What it’s for:

  • Artist creation, touring, research, Indigenous arts, sector innovation
  • Supports individuals, collectives, and organizations
    Deadline:
  • Many programs accept applications any time before your project start date
  • Some open Fall 2025 for 2026 intakes

2. SOCAN Foundation – Canadian Music Assistance Program

What it’s for:

  • Supports music creation, creative development, small projects, workshops
  • Good for emerging and mid-career music creators
    Deadline: Rolling — open until funds are depleted

3. FACTOR – Funding Streams & Deadlines

What it’s for:

  • Recording, touring, artist development, videos, marketing
  • For emerging to established Canadian artists & labels
    Deadline:
  • Many streams are rolling
  • Some require applications by January 15, 2026

4. Ontario Arts Council – Grants

What it’s for:

  • Ontario-based arts projects
  • Music, theatre, literature, dance, Indigenous arts, Francophone arts
    Deadline:
  • Many open now
  • Several accept until January 15, 2026 or until budgets are spent

5. Ontario Trillium Foundation – Youth Opportunities Fund

What it’s for:

  • Youth-led programming, community development, newcomer support, family-focused projects
    Deadline:
  • Pre-application opens October 15, 2025
  • Full application due March 11, 2026

6. Ontario Trillium Foundation – Grow Grant

What it’s for:

  • Scaling proven programs in nonprofits
  • Community services, arts, culture, social impact
    Deadline:
  • Next cycle opens October 7 – November 4, 2026
    (Worth preparing groundwork early.)

7. Ontario Anti-Hate Security & Prevention Grant

What it’s for:

  • Security upgrades: cameras, lighting, locks, training
  • Faith-based, cultural, Indigenous, and 2SLGBTQ+ organizations
    Deadline:
  • December 11, 2025

8. Seniors Community Grant Program (Ontario)
